Cover Path

The Cover Path feature provided with the University phone system, allows for users to route their in-coming calls to other phones within the environment of the office or directly to Voice Mail. This feature is useful when there will be no-one to man the phones during a particular time. Any calls coming in will be routed to another extension automatically. If there are no preferences of a route, the call can be directed straight to Audix.

To request a specific Cover Path, call TT# and listen for the correct prompt to report telephone problems. Upon leaving a message through TT# report; Information Networks personel will provide a form to ask for the necessary information to install the feature for you.

In the future an on-line form will be available.
