When your telephone is not answered, coverage may send the call to the CMC (all dorm room telephones are automatically set for coverage by the CMC). When the CMC answers the call a system greeting is given to the caller (unless overridden by a personal greeting). The simple way to leave a message is to speak after the tone and hang up when your message is complete.
The caller may also, after leaving a message, review it, and re-record it. If your mailbox is full the caller will be notified. See the control flowchart.
