Static on the Line
If you are experiencing static on your telephone line;
you should check out these possible causes before
calling TT# to report the trouble:
- Make sure that all connections are secure
- Check the connection at the handset and the phone
- Check the connection at the phone and the wall
- Make sure that the mouthpiece and the earpiece are tight on the receiver
- Please swap out the phone with a known good phone
- Make sure that all wires are in an acceptable condition.
They should not have the outer covering cut,
the wires should not be walked on or have heavy objects placed on them,
and they should not be crimped or tightly bent.
If you have checked the above suggestions, and the problem
of static is still apparent; please call TT# and leave the
appropriate message.
