No Dial Tone

If your phone has no dial tone (NDT); the problem may not be in the line. The problem could be a bad instrument (phone) or bad connection. Please check out the suggestions below before reporting the problem to TT#.

Make sure that all connections are secure
Make sure that the volume control is set to the right setting
Please swap out the phone with a known good phone
Make sure that all wires are in an acceptable condition
Make sure that the phone is turned on

If you have checked the above suggestions, and there is still no dial tone; please call TT# and leave the appropriate message.
