Kent has been with the University
of Louisiana-Lafayette for more than 20 years. He has seen the
IT department evolve from an electronics shop to providing telecommunications
for University faculty, staff, and students. Kent supervises seven
IT Tech Support Analysts who resolve telecommunications issues
throughout the Main Campus, University Common, New Iberia Research
Facility, and Center for Ecology and Environmental Technology (CEET),
which is located in Carencro.

With combined years of service of over 80 years, the Network Services
staff has seen and resolved a multitude of challenges over the years.
They are well-trained utilizing one-on-one training, hands-on training,
and additional training resources.
